On July 14th, 2024, The Pretenders rocked The Fillmore in Philadelphia with a performance that honored their classic hits while showcasing newer material. Fronted by the ever-remarkable Chrissie Hynde, the band delivered a setlist that highlighted their enduring talent and musical evolution.
Chrissie Hynde’s vocals were as strong as ever, from the opening of “Losing My Sense of Taste” to the encore’s “Mystery Achievement.” The concert featured both fan-favorite classics like “Kid” and newer tracks such as “Hate for Sale” and “You Can’t Hurt a Fool,” blending nostalgia with contemporary flair.
I had the opportunity to capture moments from the photo pit during songs #3-4, and five days later, The Pretenders shared one of my photos on their social media pages, which was a true honor.
